Stem: texture of the bark coriaceous; bole smooth. Leaf: apex caudate; base cuneate; form elliptic; indumentum glabrous; margin plane; surface glabrate; size 5.5 to 10 long (cm). Inflorescence: local cauline; type glomerule. Flower: calyx lobe(s) of the calyx fused; bracteole(s) free deciduous on the fruit; size of the bracteole(s) smaller than the flower-bud; calyx fused; surface glabrate. Fruit: form globose; indumentum glabrate; size 2 to 5 diam. (cm). Seed: number 2.
